Hassle Free Glass Repair

You know the saying, when it rains it pours. I thought with my flat tire last week, that'd be it for awhile, and I was even really excited when I got the tire for $60 less than I thought, because the tire was used. Right after that, I had to replace a headlight and a taillight, as well as my long-overdue windshield wipers. I used the money I saved from the tire to pay that off.

Then, today, I was driving home, minding my own business, and I heard a loud crack. I examined my windshield, and there was a little star crack at the bottom, near the windshield wipers on the driver's side. Oh, happy day.

My mom and sister suggested I check my insurance, to see if it would pay for it. I checked my Geico app on my phone (something I rarely use), and found that it had all kinds of different reporting options for if something happens to your car, including broken glass. I went through and answered several questions, and even managed to schedule a repair for Tuesday, after I get back from a trip. And my insurance covers it!

I gotta say, I'm now flying high on a wave of good luck. Now, I only pray that it continues. I've got a plane ride tomorrow. ;-)

Now, if I can just get my part time freelance gig off the ground, I'll be one lucky JA.
